Current Season Information:
Please visit the Swim and Tennis Club Facebook page, contact the board (below) or visit the pool directly for the most recent updates and pricing. The pool is typically open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

Standard Hours of Operation:
Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Tuesday-Friday, Noon to 8 p.m. ~or~ 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. when Parkway is in session
Closed Mondays except for all holidays.
Should a different holiday fall on a Monday, the pool is typically open Monday and closed Tuesday that week.

Membership Applications:
New member applications are available to pick up in the box at the top of the pool lot. Returning members from the previous calendar year should receive a new application by mail.

Membership cards will be available at the pool guard shack. No refunds for paid memberships.

$3 per person for non-member attendees.
Large or after hours groups will require additional life guarding at $15/hour.

Daily guest passes $3 per person per visit
10-visit Guest Pass Card $20
Earn a free guest pass by referring a friend or volunteering to help open the pool.

Volunteering:
If you'd like to volunteer to help out at the pool, look for cars at the club parking lot on weekends before the season starts. Work typically begins around 9 a.m. on Saturdays and noon on Sundays. Volunteers earn one guest pass for every 3 hours worked. This is a great opportunity to help out in your community and get to know your neighbors.

The Swim and Tennis Club of Brookdale, Inc. is a State of Missouri not-for-profit organization managed by the following officers. Membership in this not-for-profit organization is strictly on a voluntary basis. Membership is open to the public. There is no residency requirement to join.

Club Rules and Regulations


The pool board strives to make the pool and tennis courts a safe, clean and fun environment for all members and their guests to enjoy. Please read the rules and regulations of the club below.

Lifeguards are on duty for your safety, however parents are still responsible for the conduct of their children.

Personal Rules
1) Offensive language (lewd, sexually explicit, demeaning, or foul) will be cause for immediate expulsion for the rest of the day.
2) Appropriate swimwear is required (no cutoffs, jeans, shorts, thong swim-wear, etc.).
3) Glass items are not allowed in the pool area. If glass is broken, the responsible person(s) will pay for any and all expenses incurred by the Swim & Tennis Club of Brookdale relating to the broken glass.
4) Spitting is cause for expulsion for the rest of the day.
5) The following objects are not allowed in or around the pool: rigid diving sticks, water guns, water balloons, rigid frisbees, or any items deemed unsafe by the lifeguards. Only beach balls and soft nerf balls are allowed in the pool. Balls, rafts, and inner tubes are not allowed in the deep end. Rafts and inner tubes may only be used in the shallow end when the pool is not crowded. Lifeguards have the authority to confiscate inappropriate toys.
6) Rough water sports such as chicken fights are not allowed. No running, skipping, playing tag, etc. is allowed on the deck.
7) No diving is allowed into water that is less than 6 feet deep. Back dives, flips, etc. are not to be performed off the side of the pool. Divers must dive straight off the board, not angled towards the side. Only one person is allowed on the board at a time. The following are not allowed on the board: sitting, butt-busters, handstands, cartwheels, etc. Only one bounce is allowed. Masks, fins, rafts, etc. are not allowed in the diving area. Swimmers are not allowed to hang on the board. After diving, swimmers should exit the deep area at the ladder or by swimming to the shallow end. The deep end rope is intended as a safety marker and swimmers should not hang onto it.
8) Members are responsible for picking up their own litter.
9) No personal communication with lifeguards while they are on duty.
10) Personal conduct in the pool area must not jeopardize safety of other individuals.
11) Animals are not allowed past the main gate or on the tennis courts.
12) Children not toilet trained are required to wear diapers with snug-fitting rubber pants or swimmie diapers.
13) Anyone who has had diarrhea should not swim in the pool for at least 48 hours. In the case of fecal contamination of the pool, the pool will be closed for up to 36 hours.
14) No food or drink is allowed in the pool at any time.
15) No person having a communicable disease or infection will be admitted to the pool area.
16) Ashcans are to be used for disposing of cigarettes and they can be found in the Guard House.
17) Members and their guests should sign in at the guard desk before entering the pool area or playing tennis.
18) In the event of lightning or thunder, all swimmers will be asked to exit the water, including the baby pool, for a minimum of 30 minutes. The lifeguard has the authority to extend this period if it is deemed appropriate.
Local Rules
1) Only members and families in good standing may use the pool and courts. 2) All guests must be accompanied by a member and have a guest pass. Guest Pass Cards offering 10 guest visits may be purchased for $20. These may be purchased in advance or may be purchased at the gate.
3) Pool membership card should be brought to the pool and be readily accessible.
4) Children younger than age 11 must be accompanied by a person at least 14 years of age.
5) No children are allowed in the deep end of the pool without approval of the lifeguard. Children may be asked to pass a swimming test in the deep end administered by the lifeguard. The test consists of swimming the length of the deep end and treading water for 30 seconds.
6) The small pool is for children under 6 years of age.
7) If the pool experiences any type of vandalism during the year, the pool will close for a period of time to be determined by the Swim and Tennis Club Board. The Board will not tolerate any vandalism of any kind.
Tennis
Courts are for playing tennis only. No bikes, skateboards, roller blades, or strollers are allowed on the courts. Repeat violators may be expelled for the remainder of the season. If you need a key for the tennis courts, please ask. Remember, guests are also required to pay $3 per person per day and must be accompanied by a member to use the courts as well as the pool area.
