Waste Connections, our current trash service provider, offers free yard waste pick up days for those not
subscribed to their service. The three free pick up months for 2018 include April (now past), July 16 and October 21, the third Monday of each of these months. On each or any of these days you may put
out up to ten yard waste bags or equivalent containers.
(NOTE: These dates have been modified by the company, which has made some changes following a recent buyout of our previous service provider.)
You may also sign up for year round yard waste any time, or subscribe for a minimum 3 month pick up period.
Be sure to label any cans used with "YARD WASTE" or
they will not be emptied.
This is true for both paid and free pick ups. Alternately, you may use leaf bags.
