An Original Brookdale Subdivision Brochure

"Best of the World in One Charming Community." So our neighborhood is described in one classic advertising brochure.

A scan of this original Brookdale brochure, offered as homes were first being built, is now available online. The brochure, which features several of our home floor plans, also contains some amusing descriptions and, of course, shocking price numbers.

Also included are an original application to join what was known as the then exclusive "Brookdale Bath and Tennis Club," and a Post-Dispatch article interviewing our subdivision builders, the Lieberman brothers.
