St. Louis NORC for Senior Residents

During a great homeowners meeting last night, we heard from neighbor Sarah Levinson, Manager of St. Louis NORC, or "Naturally Occurring Retirement Community." Coordinated by the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, this non-sectarian organization helps adults age 65 and older to remain active, independent and connected in our community, with a primary focus on neighbors within a 3 mile radius of Millstone Campus Drive, as a larger number of adults in our region are now aging in place.

Member benefits may include minor home repair and yard work, in home computer assistance, day trips, social outings, discounted memberships or services, and more. St. Louis NORC collaborates with a number of partner organizations and is open to those from all faiths and backgrounds.

For more information, please visit their website at stlnorc.org, or phone Sarah Levinson at 314-442-3859.

  1. More home builders should be involved in such efforts to ensure the elderly are in comfortable place.
